Completo! |
My hubby is a HUGE fan of this dish and I am not. He can eat this dish for a few days and I can't. Somehow, the combination of paprika and beans is not my cup of tea. 1 bowl and that's more than enough. >_< But nevertheless, it's an easy dish to whip up, jam-packed with nutrients and of course, the big boss' tummy is satisfied. I'm more than happy to cook this for him. ;)
Ingredients
250g minced beef
1 medium-sized onion-minced/cubed
3 cloves of garlic-smashed
3-4 medium-sized paprika- in bite-sized and in assorted colours
2 cans of baked beans in tomato sauce
3-5 pcs bay leaves
splashes of chilli pepper
splashes of paprika powder
2 tbsps tomato sauce
1 box of crushed tomatoes (500g)
salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Heat up some oil in a pot.
- Fry garlic and onions till soft.
- Add in minced beef and fry till cooked.
- Add in paprika and fry briefly.
- Add in crushed tomatoes and baked beans. Stir and combine well.
- Add in chilli pepper, paprika powder, tomato sauce, bay leaves, salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix well and simmer at low heat for about 15 mins.
- Serve warm with some dollops of sour cream and jalapenos for an extra ommph.
- Top up with some pieces of baguette. Yummylicious!
